• Pablon — A district so close to the space port that windows are known to rattle whenever the big leptotronic spaceships take off and land.
• Palderboon — The main cultural hub for the capital, located in the heart of the city. Doran and Quin spent many happy hours on school outings here.
• Dactyleonbar — One of the major college districts in the city. Home of Sergeant Humbucker, who moored his barge on a canal near the Matapetus Waterfront.
• Mulchaft — A shopping district, often targeted for ‘scrobbling’ by the Shadow Dwellers.
• Calahadra — A well-heeled suburb. Doran grew up here, in the Maple Road Children’s Home.
• Nustosternus — Another college district. Home to the Yantrista Medical School, where Leyland applied to study medicine.
• Ballino Heights — A major theme park on the outskirts of Banunus City.
• Pabowimble — A suburb on the edge of Banunus City where natural caves can be found.
• Asternus — A district close to Tierramont Square, a popular busking spot for Barlin and Doran.
• Novaturrell — Home to The Shadow Dwellers gang, who lived in a network of caves beneath the city, affectionately known as Nentoke. The district is near to Mercedes Way, a seedy street where Doran tried to earn money by staging conjuring illusions.

A small crop farming community, about three hundred miles southeast of Banunus City. Hometown for minor character, Quin Oakley, the area is surrounded by the Doland Mountains.

Tavon is the fourth largest city in Magnatella, and it is situated in the southeast Cottafarral territory. Strumpole was extradited here from Cassaforta.

The planet has two natural satellites, Akkasom and Akkasine. 

The Dolon system was discovered by Alpin Dillinger, brother of Walter Dillinger, who invented leptotronic science.
